Page owners, please help if you can!
Some of you may have noticed that I canceled the livestream I had scheduled for this afternoon and that I deleted the previous two livestreams from the video section of my page without replacing them with a smoother, more helpful video as I said I would. Let's consider this time for me to script what I want the original videos to say so that I can stay on track and eliminate the use of "umm" and annoyingly long pauses! That's the silver lining, here comes the problematic dark cloud that I would truly appreciate help with asap, but I cannot offer more detail publicly.
I am having a problem getting someone banned from my page (yes, I do know how to ban people/pages even though I've never had cause to actually do so, this is a unique situation) and I cannot post about the topic on this page until I am certain the problem is resolved.
I have spent hours looking over the help pages on both Facebook and the website for Meta to no avail. If anyone knows how to contact support without having to post the specifics of my dilemma publicly on Meta's page, I would sincerely appreciate that information with all of my heart.
Lesson learned, if you think you've banned someone while using the FB app, triple check! I thought I was successful until I accessed my page from a computer and found that not only was I unsuccessful, attempts at the ban from a computer resulted in a messsage saying that I am "not allowed to ban this person at this time". If you've seen this message, you know why I've seen it, please do not include that info. I tried to change the circumstance so that I am "allowed" 3 or 4 days ago and the action is still pending! Since when does a page owner need to wait for someone working for either Facebook or Meta to look at that action and approve it? BTW, if you know what action I'm not talking about, if the action is approved, the person is now sent an email to inform them that you took that action! In my situation, that is completely inappropriate and a potential problem.
