MODERN HYGGE SHAWL - truly the coziest thing I have ever knit.

An exploration of technique and texture with a subtle play on color. Not too difficult - don’t worry, but also not too easy, just somewhere right in the middle.

The pattern starts out very simple and gradually becomes more interesting with each section.

One year ago today we got all gussied up, exchanged vows for the first time, celebrated with 200 of our closest friends and family, partied like it was 1999 (literally, the playlist was a total throwback 🙌). We cut into this surprisingly delicious vegan cake (which we did not taste before we ordered), and finished the night with our favorite midnight snack... Taco Bell of course.

Even though this wasn’t the day we officially tied the knot, this was the day that we finally got to celebrate with everyone. This day will always be special in our hearts.

Tonight, we celebrate by eating the top tier of this cake with a virtual one year cake eating party with our friends and family as we open our one year time capsule. Even though this isn’t the way we thought we’d be celebrating today, we are grateful to have each other and so many people in our lives to share this special moment with us.

To my Michael - I love you more than words can express and I can’t wait to spend every day of the rest of our lives together. Happy partyversary! @ The Vineyards
