Good morning BPF friends and family! Although, I have been a little busy with a heart attack (not funny or fun) we are still pushing on. A couple of restocks and just give us a little grace while we recuperate and get back to business! Y

🌾 That’s a wrap on hay season! 🌾

This was our last cutting for the season, and now we want to see how well y’all know the farm! 👀

This pasture is around 15-ish acres… so take your best guess:
👉 How many round bales of hay did we get off this pasture? Just fyi, it’s been cut 3 times!
The closest guess wins $20 in Farmstand credit! 🎉
⏰ Get your guess in by Sunday at 12 PM! Winner will be chosen Sunday afternoon.

And for our locals… 👀
Do you recognize where this pasture is?
Bonus question: What does Larry and Chris call this pasture? 😂If you can guess that, we will pick a winner for another $20 credit!
Drop your guesses below! ⬇️🌾

🍞 SOURDOUGH IS COMING OUT OF THE OVEN! 🍞
Fresh loaves are coming out of the oven this morning and will be headed to the farm stand later!

They’ll be inside for a little bit to cool down, but if you want one fresh and warm, just let us know! I’d be happy to bring one out for you! 😋

Come grab one later—or message us and we’ll save one for you!

And…just like that, Chris and Larry say the 2026 Hay Season is done!

The past month…life lately. We have been busy and are so very grateful. We now have two more places with our products, a new grandbaby was born, a storm took a good chuck of our roof, I had hand surgery, Willow started school, the big boys went back to school, new baby calves are hitting the ground….life has been BUSY and we are blessed. Thank you for all of your encouragement and support of our farm. We appreciate you more than you know!

And just like that, the finishing touches are done on our space at Cravey & Co.! Come out tomorrow for their opening day and look at all the amazing treasures you can find and shop our products while you are there! New to tallow? We can handle that! 🐄💕😍

Ever wonder why your jar of whipped tallow looks completely full, but the net weight seems smaller than expected? 🤔

It’s all about volume vs. weight!
Whipping tallow incorporates air, giving it that light, fluffy, easy-to-spread texture. Because of that, it takes up more space than dense, unwhipped tallow.

4 oz jar = container size
Net weight = actual product inside

And here’s the important part: I personally weigh every single jar! ⚖️💛
Every jar contains at least the net weight listed on the label — and sometimes even a little more.
So that full, fluffy jar isn’t short on product. It’s just whipped, airy goodness! ✨
