This week will be filled with making some new pieces, having the shop open in Woodstock, IL with longer hours on Friday, and vending at the upcoming Scaled Up Expos in Fond du Lac, WI. Here's this week's schedule...

Shop hours:

Wednesday, 6/10: 2:00 - 6:00 p.m.

Greetings from The Raven's Niche!

It's Saturday and the shop is open today until 3:00 p.m. Stop by to see what's new, the additional sale items available, and/or bring in a piece of jewelry, beaded item, and/or a rosary that needs to be repaired.

Yesterday I made my first rosary made of freshwater pearls. Here's a photo of the results...

Tomorrow plans have changed and I will not be selling at the Wilmot Flea Market. I plan to be back up there on June 21st, Father's Day.

Greetings from The Raven's Niche!

If you are looking for a little gift for a loved one or a handy prayer tool for yourself, I make pocket rosaries of which some of them are big enough to put around your wrist. They are a one decade rosaries and I can make them with glass, wood, semi-precious gems and/or metal beads and I have a variety of different crosses, crucifixes, and other holy medal beads and medals that can be added to them. I have a variety of glass bead ones available at the Niche.

Greetings from The Raven's Niche!

I'm at the shop today this afternoon and I just finished up this Divine Mercy Garnet and Sodalite rosary using garnet beads I picked up many years ago when I was in Southern California working a software implementation project. I was recommended by the staff at the school district to check out this huge bead store called Pacific Beads and I took them up on the recommendation. I was in awe of the selection and when I came across these garnet beads I new they would work out well in a rosary.

This rosary and other beaded items are available at The Niche. I'll be here today until 7:00 p.m. and tomorrow, Saturday, May 30th from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. I will also be vending at the Wilmot Flea Market on Sunday.

Greetings from The Raven's Niche!

We are in the last week of May, the schools are wrapping up for the summer, warmer days are ahead, and more opportunities for outside activities, like flea markets!

This week, the shop in Woodstock will be open...

Wednesday, 5/27: 2:00 - 6:00 p.m.
Friday, 5/29: 3:00 - 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, 5/30: 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
..and I'll be taking part of the shop and other treasures on the road to the Wilmot Flea Market on Sunday, 5/31, vending from 7:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

I continue to make new beaded items, like these earrings and St. Kateri Tekakwitha chaplet for a relative. If there is a piece of jewelry, beaded handbag or clothing, or a rosary you would like made or repaired, please let me know.

Happy Saturday from The Raven's Niche!

The shop is open today until 3 p.m. Besides beaded jewelry and rosaries, I also have wine glass charms, stitch markers, trinket boxes, postage stamps for the collectors and crafters, and other trinkets and treasures.

Today I am also working on a few new pairs of earrings and repairing some rosaries and bracelets. If you have a beaded piece that needs to be repaired or restrung or a watch that needs a new battery, stop by, give me a call, or send me a message.

Happy Mother's Day!

All set up at the Scaled Up Expos in Rothschild, WI and the doors have just opened. The show will go until 3:00 p.m. Even if your mother doesn't like reptiles or doesn'tneed any reptile foods or supplements, I have a nice variety of beaded jewelry and rosaries, and pendant necklaces she might like instead. I am across from ChamScapellc who has beautiful panther chameleons.
