The Sweetest Weekend

There are some weekends that feel a little sweeter than others because the people who matter most were there. This weekend, Grandma and Grandpa made the long drive down from Indiana to spend Memorial Day weekend with us. There were apples to pick, mountains to admire, ice cream to eat, museums to explore, and plenty of memories made along the way.

And, of course, there was the inevitable question from Bella: “Are they here yet?” 😂

By Monday, we were all wishing the weekend could last just a little longer. Now we’re home with a peck of apples, a camera roll full of memories, and plans for what to make with our harvest.

This summer took us a lot of places. From Savannah and Tybee Island to North Carolina and Alabama, from beach days to softball fields, family milestones, long drives, and little moments I know I'll remember for years to come.
