A closer look at the public spaces of Hyatt House Atlanta/Perimeter Center reveals a consistent visual language rooted in connection to nature. From the Reception to the Lobby and Dining areas, wood detailing, sculptural artwork, greenery, and nature-inspired motifs carry throughout the hotel. Rather than treating biophilia as a single feature, it becomes part of the overall atmosphere of the property. Together, these elements create a setting that feels fresh and relaxed while still aligning with the residential qualities associated with the Hyatt House brand.

The Link Decatur East - Affordable Senior Living reflects an approach to senior living design that considers not only the aesthetics and functionality of interior space, but how it can support community, choice, and a sense of belonging. Our design creates a progression of experiences throughout the property, from the Leasing Reception area, where a piano carries forward a tradition inspired by Noel Khalil, the late founder of Columbia Residential, to amenity spaces that support gathering, productivity, wellness, and everyday life. A curated collection of work by Atlanta artists Corey Barksdale, Arm of Casso, and Day Kennedy of Daylight Glassworks further connect the interiors to the surrounding creative community, introducing different scales, mediums, and forms of storytelling into the resident experience. Together, these elements create a community where design, art, history, and local identity contribute to a meaningful sense of place.

Life at The Link Decatur East - Affordable Senior Living, extends well beyond the individual resident units. When designing the amenity spaces, we consider how residents move through their day, providing dedicated places to socialize, stay active, work, and enjoy time with neighbors. The Community Room serves as a central gathering point with space for games, conversation, and group activities; while the Business Center offers a quieter setting for technology and personal tasks. In the Fitness Center, accessible equipment and an open layout support residents in maintaining an active lifestyle. By providing each amenity a different purpose and wellness focused atmosphere, our design helps create a community where residents can choose how they engage, recharge, and connect throughout the day.

The Link Decatur East - An Affordable Housing Solution for 62+ Seniors, brings together residential living and shared community spaces designed to support connection, independence, and everyday life for its residents. Within the Leasing Reception Area, our design creates a comfortable place to arrive, gather, and spend time, with multiple seating arrangements and an open connection to the surrounding Decatur neighborhood.. The piano carries an especially meaningful presence, continuing a tradition within Columbia Residential’s senior living communities that honors the vision of late founder Noel Khalil. More than a feature within the room, it reinforces the sense of community at the center of The Link, and the role of shared spaces and musical activities in bringing residents together.

For the guestroom renovation at DoubleTree by Hilton Atlanta Roswell, Fusion created a modern stay with a nod to Roswell’s roots. Design choices were guided by the character and history of the surrounding city. Woven textures were paired with natural finishes, industrial details, and deep blue accents, that referenced the indigo dyes once used in local textile production. In the typical guestrooms, a bold blue headboard wall creates a defining focal point, while the upgraded top-floor suites shift to a wood-look feature wall for a more elevated experience. These intentional variations give each room type its own identity while carrying our Downtown Roswell-inspired vision throughout the hotel.

Roswell, Georgia's textile history becomes part of the journey through the DoubleTree Hotel by Hilton in Roswell Atlanta. Throughout the corridors, our curated artwork collection pays tribute to the historic mills that played a role in shaping the city, with each floor highlighting a different piece of Roswell’s past. The custom “ink” carpet carries the story from one artwork to the next, using expressive movement and tonal variation to complement the collection. Together, the art and carpet create a corridor experience rooted in the history and character of Roswell.

Inspired by Atlanta's fleeting Golden Hour, the guestrooms at Embassy Suites by Hilton Atlanta Airport North translate the colors and character of the city at sunset into a refined interior retreat. Slate blues and muted plum meet amber-toned wood, while crisp geometric forms echo the dimensional shadows cast across the skyline as daylight begins to fade. The result captures that familiar end-of-day feeling, with a place to settle in, recharge, and enjoy the quieter side of the city.

Our collaborative approach allows us to work closely with our clients throughout the design process, ensuring their vision remains at the center while creating spaces that feel connected, purposeful, and uniquely suited to the property.

A memorable arrival begins in the Lobby at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Atlanta Airport North, where thoughtful design details create an engaging experience for today's savvy traveler. The lush, custom biophilic green wall behind the Reception desk displays a unique aviation-inspired focal point, while rich wood tones and sculptural lighting add warmth and visual interest throughout the space. A sleek custom water feature provides guests a visual and acoustic buffer between the adjacent expansive Bar Lounge and the open Lobby seating zone, inviting relaxed social interaction and effortless connectivity to refresh their journey.
