Good morning! First off I forgot to show you all we had a little baby boy last Friday. If you’re not following me on the spotted donkey page, please go do so because you can see all the updates of baby boy .

He is so sweet and so soft and I am absolutely in love. He’s definitely my most favorite even out of the Goats.

Sorry I have not been on in a while. Life has been a crazy busy and I’m trying to get my Boutiqe going, but I will have some Material in an album pretty soon for sale probably sometime this week.

As I told you from now on, I’m only doing seasonal items may be a raggedy and once in a while so there’s a ton of material that I don’t need anymore.

I’ve also been very busy with Etsy orders that has been pretty consistent so thank you all everybody’s been ordering fall stuff and some Christmas stuff.

So that’s gonna be my main focus from now on it’s just seasonal items sometimes I might put them for sale on here first and like I said I will be doing some smaller dolls because I still love raggedy and I’m just not gonna hardly do any more bigger dolls. So I definitely need to do one more D stash of Material.

So stay tuned for that I will let you know when the album is ready.

Just went and listed all those big dolls at $29.00 each. I will no longer be making big dolls. Only small stuff from now on.

So this was me last week when we went for a gator boat tour in Florida OK, so Sylvia just messaged me and told me some ladies are going to live sales. I’m really getting tired of Etsy anyway because they take so much of your money and by the time you actually pay all their fees, you’re doing a lot of work for a little bit of profit.

So what would everybody say about doing live doll cells? This would allow me to go live do so many of each item and then take orders on those items and then keep doing that so many times a month.

Would anybody watch a live?

Good morning! I have a serious question today, is dolls a dying art, is anybody really buying a ton of homemade anymore or even dolls in general or even crafting? I still have my same customer base that I have built up for the last 30 years but it seems like nobody is hardly buying dolls anymore.

I know the last several years with the economy and everybody’s been holding onto their money, but it still just seems like the doll world is fading. And the reason why I’m asking this is is it even still worth it to do dolls anymore? Is everybody more into bears and Santas and holiday items now instead of any dolls or dolls in general including seasonal?

I would really like your feedback on this because I really wanna know if it’s even worth the time anymore. I have so many projects lined up and so much stuff sewn but I don’t wanna waste my time anymore if it’s just not worth it. I was so excited to get back into being able to do dolls a lot more now, but I don’t even see some of the doll makers that made like I did making them as much as they did. Thanks for your input.
