I've started this post more times than I can count. One of my biggest values is transparency, but I've struggled not only to find the words, but to process everything that's happened.
If you've noticed I've been quieter, slower to respond, or not showing up quite like I usually do, I want to acknowledge that.
I don't typically share much of my personal life on my business page, but it feels wrong not to share this, given how many incredible clients, vendors, and people in this industry I've built relationships with and care about so deeply.
This past year has been one of the most challenging seasons of my life.
I became a mom, and while that's brought more joy into my life than I can put into words, it's also been a harder transition than I'd like to admit. I've been navigating postpartum, solo parenting, and ongoing health issues, all while returning to work almost immediately without giving myself much space to adjust to such a huge life change.
Just as we started adjusting to our new normal, my husband, Hunter, had another seizure that unexpectedly took him out of work for nearly two months. I spent much of that time advocating for him and navigating a medical situation that was incredibly difficult for our family.
During that time, a 110-foot pine tree fell on our home while we were directly underneath where it hit. Thankfully, we were okay, but the experience was terrifying and left us shaken and temporarily displaced.
More challenges followed, including illness, recovery, and months of Hunter working significantly more to help us recover, which meant a lot of solo parenting on my end.
Through all of it, I was trying to be a wife, a mom, and run a business while also trying to stay connected to myself. There were many moments when I simply couldn't keep up the way I wanted to.
To my clients, especially those who were on the other end of delayed emails, shifting timelines, or slower responses, I see you, and I truly thank you. Your patience and grace have meant more to me than I can say. 🤍
I'm finally starting to feel like I'm finding my footing again, and I'm incredibly grateful to everyone who has continued to support my business, trusted me with your home, shared my work, or simply stayed through this quieter season. I don't take any of it for granted.
There are also so many projects from the past two years that I haven't shared yet, and I'm genuinely excited to start showing them here.
As I move forward, I want to make sure nothing has been left behind. If I missed a message or there's something I forgot to follow up on, please do not hesitate to reach out.

I'm looking forward to sharing more of the work I love and everything we've been creating behind the scenes. 🤍
