Sorry I haven't been keeping up with this site more, it's been a bad winter, glad it's over. Next event in Worthington will be a flea market, craft fair in Worthington April 10 & 11. Merchants downtown will also be doing sidewalk sales. We are sad to see our friends TWo Sisters & a Blessing leaving town, but wish them much happiness in their next phase of life. They will be missed. We love the Luv Shack, a new restaurant in town, great sandwiches, nice atmosphere & Joe & Amanda are such nice hosts, we wish them well. On April 1 we will be in businessl 7 years, where does the time go? We will be running surprise sales Friday & Saturday, 50% OFF ALL glassware, book sales, & 25% off all crafts, except Tulip Quilts. Changing inventory. Hope to see old & new friends then.

maybe it's the cold weather or not, but people are reading more (thank you). Our Feb. specials are our $1 paperbacks, & this month only, ALL hardback book half price, cookbooks, craft & quilt books, bios, mysteries, & romance. You name it. If we don't have it, we'll try to find it for you. The front clearance table is full of good old hard back books, some library copies, $1 each, buy 5 & get one free. I doubt if you'll get snowed in any time soon,(we bought a snow blower!!) Brave the cold & come on out, now open Mon, Tues, closed Wed, Open thur, fri, sat, 11-5 . We love browsers.

Very slow for this close to Christmas, but hope the spirit hits people soon. Loved being at the Gasthof last week, but this week, Sat. Nov 9 hope to see a lot of people in Worthington. It's the Greene County-wide Holiday Open House. Friends, 2 Sisters & a Blessing already have beautiful windows, & have been decorating all week. Strawberry Patch, across the street has been creating new candles &melts geared toward the season. I put up the Christmas tree yesterday, (named her Ilene for obvious reason) & have been sewing my little fingers off. Hope good friend Phyllis will have the new Remember When open this weekend, if not, it will be very soon. I'll keep everyone posted. Hope to see you all out.

So nice to see familiar faces & friends in Montgomery, In. last week. Remember Worthington Christmas Open House, Sat. Nov. 10, from 9-5. Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus will be arriving in a horse drawn carriage, a little before 11 am. Pictures can be taken with them at city hall. Then, treat yourself to a carriage ride around town. The stores will be decorated, with lots of yummy treats, good sales, & lots of Christmas cheer. We hope to see you then. Hope you will come out to the Amish Village in Montgomery, In on Nov. 2 & 3. Some of the Worthington shops that will be there are Dusty Collectables, Remember When, & 2 Sisters & a Blessing. We are looking forward to seeing old friends there & meeting new ones, working like elves now for this Christmas event. Then on Nov. 10 come to Downtown Worthington for our annual open house, have pictures taken at city hall with Mr. & Mrs. Santa, then have pizza at Mama Dia's or ice cream treats at the new 67 Diner. A fun day for all!!!!! See you then!!!!!

This weekend is town wide yardsale here in Worthington, so hope to see a lot of old friends & new. Thru Sept 8, all hardbooks are 20% off all books over $10, & 10% off all under $10. All paperback books are $1 ea, thousands of, like brand new, westerns, romance, mystery. Remember we discount 10% off books for students all the time. Ask for our punch cards, when you buy 10 paperbacks, get one free, or 10 hardbacks & receive $7 store credit on other books. New trading policies you will like. We will be closed Labor Day , Tues, & Wed to rearrange the store, so check with us after, to see our new look.

Dusty Collectables will be closed Wed. afternoon, 7/25, for Dr. Ed Benjamin's funeral. The retired dentist was a life long resident of Worthington, serving in many ways, & will be sorely missed.At Welch-Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington, the visitation is at 11 a.m. & the funeral at 1 pm.

It may be hot outside, so come on in to the cool & browse our latest selection. We just got in about 50 V.C.Andrews books for all her fans, a good selection of craft & quilting books, and clearance on all our comic books. Remember we always give a 10% discount to students. For the quilters, we have a wide selection of 100% cottons, most $5.00 a yd or less, 5 in. charm squares already cut for you, and a good number of assorted fat quarters. We will cut any amount for you.

Still have flash glass, Fiesta, some depression, china, etc. Flat fold fabric $4.00 yd, will cut any length. Or just stop in to chat.
