Making some larger coffee mugs, since those often seem to be the first ones chosen. I sell all year, (just contact me to set up a time to come over) but do mark your calendar for my big annual sale - Friday, Saturday, & Sunday, December 4, 5, & 6, 2026, at my home studio.
I plan to have 150 mugs for sale this year, along with everything else.

These are dry and ready for the 1st of 2 firings they will experience.

Hello to all of my friends, family, customers, and followers. I wish for you whatever goodness you wish for your new year, and please know I appreciate your support for my pottery making business.

Working in clay is a constant interaction (choreography maybe?) with what truly is the science of the earth's precious materials, but feels like magic. And, as someone who teaches others how to work with clay, I can make a very good argument that it is magic; each person's essence is expressed in their work, whether they intend that or not, each pot has something of the potter, adding to it's intrinsic, and always unique value.

So, Happy New Year. I will enjoy making pots in 2026, and whenever you need a gift for you or someone else, please email me and stop by to browse the magic that is clay.

A very sincere Thank You to all who came to my 2025 Pottery Sale Holiday Open House! It was wonderful seeing so many friends from the past and present and it felt like a 3-day party.
