Fourteen inches of oak and purpleheart, layered by hand until it stands proud off the wall. Each piece is cut on the scroll saw right here in Wright, Wyoming, then finished smooth with wipe-on oil.

The purpleheart's rich purple grain against the warm oak makes this one a centerpiece — over the fireplace, the entryway, or that quiet corner that needs a little heart.

$45. One of a kind — when it is gone, it is gone.

These little beauties are cut one by one on the scroll saw — about 7 inches of hand-cut fretwork, with candle and cross designs that catch the light on any tree.

The cross one isn't just for Christmas, either. Plenty of folks hang it year-round — in a window, on a wall, wherever they want a little something meaningful.

Handmade right here in Wyoming from solid wood, sealed up and ready to hang.

$12 each or 2 for $20.

These little cedar angels are one of my favorite Christmas pieces. Each one is cut on the scroll saw and hangs on an invisible fishing line, so they look like they're floating in the tree — and being cedar, they smell like Christmas too. $5 each, or 3 for $12.

🖊️ Pen spotlight: the twist pen.

Turned from spalted wood, fitted with polished chrome hardware. Every twist pen comes out a little different — the grain does the talking.

Writes smooth, carries easy, and looks like it costs a lot more than $20.

Fun fact about these feathers: most of them started life as scrap. Cutoffs, offcuts, pieces most folks would toss in the burn pile.

I see a feather in there. A wolf. An eagle. Takes a scroll saw, some patience, and a little imagination — and what was headed for the firewood stack ends up hanging on somebody's wall.

That's the whole idea behind Iron Cross woodworking. Nothing wasted, everything gets a second life.

Know a golfer with a hard-to-shop-for Christmas list? 🏌️

Hand-turned on the lathe right here in the shop — a pocket-size golf pencil in two-tone wood, smooth as silk and small enough to ride along in a pocket or cart. Handy on the course, handsome enough to leave sitting out the rest of the week.

Just $15 — a fine little gift for the golfer in your life.

Struggling to find a gift for the person who has everything? A hand-turned pen is the kind of gift folks actually keep. 🖊️

Each of these click pens is turned right here in the shop from solid wood — no two alike, each with its own grain and character. Smooth click action, balanced in the hand, and they write as good as they look.

$25 each or 2 for $45. These go fast at Christmas, so if you want a set tucked away for the holidays, now's the time.

They'll be on the table at the vendor show Nov 13–14 too — come pick your favorite in person.
