Iām so excited, it looks like we may actually be getting the lease to this building I mentioned!!
Chris has been talking about this building for two years.
Heās been telling me how he passes it all the time, how itās perfect, telling me the purchase price. I told him thereās no way Iām putting money into purchasing a building like that when we need the money to finish this house.
Then, on Sunday, after doing our walk-through, he asked me if he could show me. We went there, looked at the building, looked in the windows. The first thing I noticed is that it not only said for sale, itās also for lease. ļæ¼
For lease, why had he never mentioned this before?!?! (Because he doesnāt believe in leasing over buying, but sometimes it actually makes sense.)
Well, if itās for lease, and thereās both a shop area for his plumbing business, and also an office space that could be a design studio/artist space for me, yes, of course letās call on it!!!
We walked it Monday night. He spoke with the owner multiple times today. The owner is interested in keeping half of the warehouse space for his own storage, letting us lease just half of the warehouse as well as the office area. This is good enough for us.
We spoke about terms tonight. The space has been vacant from a business for two years. Itās very clean though. A blank canvas. It sounds like this might be a dream come true, very feasible considering we could have significant storage for all of the plumbing as well as ļæ¼building materialsļæ¼.
And I could also have a creative space to work out of. ļæ¼
Now Iām really getting excitedā¦
