Two’fer Tuesday!

These fine guitars belong to my dime piece, Mrs. Smok’d.

A tribute build in the style of the ‘80’s Japanese Strats, “The ‘84” is a monochromatic, single Humbucker Hot Rod!

The other guitar has yet to be named but was discovered and acquired due to its design and color palette! Right at home either displayed in the rack or on a shelf with the other Chinaucery! 🤘

Album on deck for the day! The London Howling Wolf Sessions

When this project was first being discussed, executives did not want to spend the money to get anyone except for Howlibg Wolf to London. He declined to go if his guitarist, Hubert Sumlin, could not go and was quoted “If you dont have him, then you don’t have me.”

Wrapping up a fun little session. I know 88db is not “loud” by most standards but, it’s about 10db more than my typical playing volume. Lots of fun for sure! 🤘

I am even less of a fan of crooked ass tuners. 🤦🏼‍♂️🤘 Glue em up, level em up and drill baby drill!
