Translation: we take wedding flowers very, very seriously.

We offer everything from intimate wedding packages to full-scale floral design, and we’ll work with you to decide where your budget makes the biggest impact.

And Backstreet may be a small-town flower shop, but our capabilities and our main designers aren’t small-town-sized. For larger events, Bonny has access to a network of experienced professional floral designers and freelancers who can join our team for production and installation.

Today is one of those days that makes our whole family incredibly proud.

We're excited to share that Bonny has successfully passed the Professional Floral Design Evaluation and has been invited into the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD)—one of the highest professional honors in the floral industry.

Most people have never heard of AIFD, and that's okay. Think of it as the floral industry's equivalent of earning a board certification or master-level professional credential. Designers aren't simply allowed to join—they must demonstrate exceptional design skills, creativity, technical knowledge, and professionalism through a rigorous evaluation.

Very few florists ever reach this level, and even fewer from small communities like ours.

For years, Bonny has poured her heart into every wedding, sympathy tribute, birthday arrangement, anniversary bouquet, and "just because" design that has left our shops. Many of you have trusted her with some of the most important moments of your lives, and we're so grateful for that trust.

This recognition isn't just for Bonny—it belongs to our customers and our communities as well. Your support has made it possible for her to pursue excellence and continue growing as a floral artist.

Well, it’s 100 degrees in the shade and my delivery driver managed to bust his (thankfully) non-throwing arm. We’ll be closed again today while we take our Tylenol and get ready for school starting soon!
