Jose Buono! 🌿💚

LOOK. AT. THOSE. LEAVES. 😍

Jose Buono is one of those philodendrons that just gets better and better as it grows. Big, elongated leaves with those gorgeous splashes of color and texture… this is definitely a plant that knows how to make an entrance. 😂

Give it bright, indirect light and let the soil dry out more than half way between waterings (let the pot start to get light!). And give it something to climb if you want to encourage those bigger leaves!

Hoya Krimson Queen! 💚🤍🌿

This one is showing off with those gorgeous cream-and-green leaves! 😍 And when the new growth comes in with those pinkish tones? Ummm… YES PLEASE.

Hoya Krimson Queen is a fun one for anyone who likes a little variegation without needing a super fussy plant. Give it bright, indirect light and let the soil dry out about 60-75% between waterings.

And eventually, if you're lucky, you might even get those adorable little Hoya blooms! 🌸

I made fb news! Lol 😁 SBDC and NTRPDC were both a huge help in making this project a reality!

What started as a passion project at her home in 2023 has grown into a thriving small business for Katrina Parks, owner of Kat's Knots and Pots located in Milan in Bradford County. Katrina grows and propagates her own unique houseplants, creates handmade macrame pieces, and even developed her own custom soil blend, “Kat’s Dirt,” selling her products at a local vendor mall and events.

Outgrowing her home nursery, she planned an expansion into a garage space. Katrina turned to The Small Business Development Center at The University of Scranton, where she worked with Business Consultant Gretchen Kukuchka to create her first three-year business plan, prepare financial projections and prepped for the Northern Tier Regional Planning and Development Commission Rural & Rooted Pitch Competition. Katrina’s hard work paid off when she was selected as a winner in the competition. Katrina also secured financing through NTRPDC, helping her move her nursery expansion from an idea to a reality.

Chinese Money Plant! 🪴💚

Just look at those perfectly round little leaves! 😍 They almost look like tiny green coins growing on stems.

These are such a fun, quirky plant and they’re pretty easygoing as long as you give them bright, indirect light and let the soil dry out about 50% between waterings.

And bonus points… they tend to make little babies around the base, so eventually you may have even MORE little money plants! 😂🌱

Zebra plants! 🦓🌿

Okay, but those stripes?! 😍💚 They look like someone took a paintbrush to the leaves and decided to show off a little.

Zebra plants like bright, indirect light and consistent moisture, so this is one I wouldn't let completely dry out. Let the soil dry out a little between waterings, but don't let it stay bone dry for long.

And if you're lucky, they can reward you with those ridiculously pretty yellow blooms! 💛

Philodendron Hope 🌿💚

One of those plants that is just ridiculously good at making a space feel more jungle-y. 😂

Big, lush leaves and a nice full growth habit make this one a great choice if you want something that makes a statement without being overly fussy.

Give it bright, indirect light and let the soil dry out about 50% or a little more between waterings. 🌱

Okayyyy, Hoya Eskimo! 😍

Look at those leaves! 💚🤍 The splashy variegation on this one is SO pretty, and every new leaf is basically a little surprise.

Hoya Eskimo is such a fun one if you like your plants with a little extra personality. Give it bright, indirect light, let the soil mostly dry out between waterings, and it’ll be happy to keep doing its thing. 🌿

Some of the cute rocks that were left for us on Saturday ❤️❤️❤️

If anyone would like to stop in Friday morning (10/09) before noon, let me know! I'll be in the store getting ready for the Williamsport Exotic Plant Show on Saturday, but I have plenty of cute starters I can trade for more rocks to fill my landscaping AND plenty of plants for you to browse of course!

I spent some time at the Wysox Vendor Mall today restocking a bit and watering and floofing. I'll be bringing more plants on Thursday to get her filled back up! (Not that there aren't still a TON of good plants to browse!)
