I dug this cute little table out of a little storage area under a house a few weeks ago. It has a perfect, soft pink, chippy finish and an enamel top. A couple weeks later I came across this pink ceramic pot. Set it in front of one of my Holly shrubs that is still full of red berries. Perfect Valentine's Day combo!🩷

Gorgeous, warm weather today! Hard to believe that in 48 hours we could have rain, freezing rain, sleet or snow. Or possibly a combination of all or some. The forecast is still all over the place. We're on the northern side of the predicted freezing rain and the southern end of the snow. Praying we're in the sweet spot and just get a little rain!!

{Throwback Thursday} Another man cave piece. Definitely my favorite things to make. This was a great entertaining piece for a back patio, rec room or basement.

{Loot Shoot} Before we moved here I thought there would be way more good "junk" than back home. That has not be the case. I went to numerous antique stores and didn't see a single piece of chippy paint furniture. They were all full of high end, fancy furniture and glassware. A couple have really great primitives, but still not really what I was looking for or expecting.
I've only come across one good, junker type estate sale on an old homestead. And after talking to many estate sale business owners, I've found that most "junk" I would love to dig out of an old barn or shed and restore or repurpose, goes to the landfill as they're getting ready for the estate sales. A lot of old stuff (as well as old barns) is just discarded here.
So, I was happy to come across these great, aged pieces. Looking forward to saving as many great chippy, crusty, rusty pieces as I can!!
