Beautiful wreath sashes embroidered with the school’s crest to start a new school year!
’𝑻𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒏𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒃𝒆𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒔𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝑽𝑪𝑺,
Each classroom was shining and looking its best.
The backpacks were waiting, all packed with great care,
With pencils and folders and fresh clothes to wear.
From ELC’s littlest Flashes so small,
To St. Francis and St. Al, there’s a place for them all.
Each student lay dreaming, tucked snugly in bed,
As thoughts of the new school year danced in their heads.
The teachers had worked with excitement and cheer,
Preparing to welcome a wonderful year.
The hallways were polished, the classrooms were bright,
And everything waited for morning’s first light.
For here, every Flash is encouraged to grow,
In mind, body, and spirit wherever they go.
With faith at the center and Christ as our guide,
We’ll learn, serve, and flourish with God by our side.
Tomorrow brings laughter, new lessons, and fun,
New memories waiting for each and every one.
So rest up, dear Flashes, and dream the night through—
A brand-new school year is waiting for you!
One school and one family, together we’ll be—
Happy first day of school from your VCS family!
