It’s time for a Yellville treasure hunt! And this treasure comes straight from the gifted hands of artist Mary Hall. New to the shop and to the Ozarks, Mary brings these poignant weaved rocks to our community (how lucky are we?!).

Based on the traditional Japanese philosophy of wabi-sabi, they represent the beauty in impermanence, modesty, and the natural cycle of growth and decay. Mary is as generous as she is talented, and she’s crafted and donated a few wrapped rocks for Lucky Star Handmade to offer to the community in the way of a scavenger hunt.

The best part is- FINDERS KEEPERS! Stop by Lucky Star Handmade with your found woven rock for an additional congratulatory gift. We’ll reveal a clue every Friday until it’s been located, so make sure you check in with us on Facebook and Instagram. Our knitting group meets on the third Thursday of each month, from 10:00 am to Noon. No experience is necessary, and there are always experienced knitters on hand to help you untangle both your yarn and your knitting questions. Whether you've been knitting for 40 years or don't know the difference between a knitting needle and a kabob skewer, you are welcome to join.

But fair warning: The side effects of attending the knitting group may include:
Making new friends;
Learning what a purl stitch is;
Acquiring an unexplained urge to buy more yarn;
Losing track of time while swapping stories;
Leaving with a knitted project you never dreamed you could make.
