Before ➡️ After | Breakfast Nook Refresh

A few weeks ago, we transformed the living area… and now it’s the breakfast nook’s turn to shine! ✨

What was once a dark, builder-grade space is now warm, inviting, and full of character. We carried the design seamlessly from the living room into the breakfast nook to create one cohesive space that’s perfect for slow mornings, family dinners, and everything in between.

For this transformation we:
🤍 Installed a stunning botanical wallpaper feature
🤍 Added woven bamboo shades for warmth and texture
🤍 Hung full-height linen drapery to make the ceilings feel taller
🤍 Painted the walls in Sherwin-Williams Realist Beige
🤍 Brought in accents of Sherwin-Williams Acacia Haze to tie the spaces together

✨ A little progress can make a big impact. ✨

A few years ago, we helped these homeowners maximize their kitchen by replacing the original island with a larger, more functional design that added valuable prep space, seating, and storage. The transformation instantly made the kitchen feel more open, inviting, and practical for everyday living.

Fast forward to today, and we returned to complete the next phase of their kitchen refresh with a beautiful subway tile backsplash. The new backsplash brightens the space, adds texture and character, and ties together the existing countertops, cabinetry, and island for a more polished, finished look.

One of our favorite things about home updates is that they don’t always have to happen all at once. Thoughtful, phased improvements allow homeowners to spread projects out over time while still creating a cohesive and updated space.

This kitchen is the perfect example of how strategic upgrades—first the island, then the backsplash—can completely elevate a room without a full remodel.

Before a single piece of décor was purchased, we created this custom design board to bring our client’s vision to life. By combining soft, organic textures, warm wood tones, layered patterns, and a calming color palette of Sherwin-Williams Realist Beige and Acacia Haze, we were able to create a space that feels collected, cozy, and timeless.

The living room portion of this project was completed last week, and seeing the design come to life has been so rewarding! From the custom paint colors to the textiles, artwork, window treatments, and accessories, every detail was thoughtfully selected to create a cohesive look that flows seamlessly into the kitchen.

Now we’re counting down to the final phase—the kitchen transformation—which will tie everything together beautifully.

Who says a small space can’t make a big statement?

This powder room went from builder-basic beige to a rich, sophisticated retreat with a full color-drenched makeover using Sherwin-Williams Storm Cloud. By carrying the color across the walls, ceiling, trim, and door, we created a dramatic, cohesive look that makes this small space feel intentional and elevated.

The addition of warm brass accents, a new mirror, updated lighting, and soft-textured accessories perfectly balance the moody blue-gray paint, creating a space that’s both timeless and inviting.

This kitchen got a fresh new look with professionally painted cabinetry, proving that you don’t always need a full remodel to completely transform your space.

We brightened the perimeter cabinets with Sherwin-Williams Alabaster and added beautiful contrast with an Indigo Batik island, creating a timeless combination that feels both classic and current. This living room transformation is officially underway, and we’re already obsessed with the direction it’s heading. We started with a custom design board to create a cohesive vision for the space, and last week we completed the paint phase — completely changing the feel of the room before a single piece of decor was added.

Now the fun part begins 👏
New decor, styling, textures, and finishing touches start tomorrow, and we cannot wait to see this space fully come to life.
