Rineer Designs is seeking a full-time Architectural / Interior Design Technician to join our team.

At Rineer Designs, we are committed to providing thoughtful design solutions while serving our clients with professionalism, reliability, integrity, and attention to detail. We are seeking a team member who shares those values and takes pride in supporting projects from concept through construction.

Key Responsibilities
• AutoCAD 2D drafting and construction documents
• Kitchen & bath cabinetry detailing
• Field measurements and design verification
• Construction administration support and site visits
• Commercial and residential code documentation
• Permit submissions and project coordination
• SketchUp renderings (preferred)

Qualifications
• 3–6 years of experience in drafting, interior design, or interior architecture
• Kitchen & bath industry experience required
• Cabinetry detailing experience required
• Strong AutoCAD proficiency
• Understanding of building codes, accessibility requirements, and life safety considerations
• Experience with residential and commercial design projects
• Organized, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused
• Dependable, professional, and committed to producing accurate work

As a small, collaborative firm, team members contribute to a variety of project types and may assist with specification writing, material research, design development, code documentation, permit submissions, and technical project support.

Flexible workspaces are more important than ever.

For this commercial project, we designed two custom meeting tables that allow the space to easily adapt to the team’s needs. With the divider closed, the room functions as two private meeting spaces. Open it up, and the tables come together to create one large collaborative conference room.

Thoughtful planning of scale, furniture design, circulation, technology integration, and spatial flow helped create a workspace that supports both flexibility and collaboration, without sacrificing aesthetics.

At Rineer Designs, we believe commercial interiors should work as beautifully as they look, creating environments tailored to how teams operate every day.

The Summer Issue of FIG Lancaster has arrived!

This image was captured in one of our completed Lancaster County homes, and it remains one of those projects that brings a smile to my face. I truly enjoyed collaborating with the homeowners throughout the transformation, learning about their lifestyle, their goals for the space, and helping bring their vision to life.

Every project tells a story, and the most rewarding part of what we do is creating homes that feel personal, inviting, and uniquely tailored to the people who live in them.

Sometimes the most impactful transformations happen behind the walls.

This primary bath renovation involved more than updated finishes, it required rethinking the entire layout to improve how the space worked day to day. What were once two separate sink areas divided across different spaces were thoughtfully unified into one expansive double vanity arrangement designed for better circulation, functionality, and visual balance.

A key design element in this transformation was the use of large-format Dekton slab surfaces surrounding the vanity area. By reducing visual interruptions and minimizing grout lines, the space feels cleaner, calmer, and far more cohesive.

The combination of architectural planning and material selection helped transform this bath into a more seamless everyday experience, one that feels both timeless and highly functional.
