homemade Ultimate Big Mac with extra secret sauce
Ingredients:
For the Burger Patties:
1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp garlic powder
For the Secret Sauce:
½ cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp sweet pickle relish
1 tbsp yellow mustard
1 tsp white vinegar
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
For Assembling:
3 sesame seed buns (2 bottoms, 1 top)
4 slices American cheese
½ cup shredded iceberg lettuce
¼ cup diced onions
8 dill pickle slices
Directions:
Prepare the Sauce: In a small bowl, mix all the sauce ingredients until well combined. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes for best flavor.
Shape and Cook the Patties: Divide the ground beef into four equal portions and flatten into thin patties. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat and cook the patties for 2-3 minutes per side until nicely browned and cooked through.
Toast the Buns: Lightly toast all three bun pieces on a dry skillet until golden brown.
Assemble: Spread secret sauce on the bottom bun, add shredded lettuce, one slice of cheese, a beef patty, and pickles. Place the middle bun layer on top and repeat with sauce, lettuce, cheese, beef patty, and pickles. Cover with the top bun.
Serve immediately and enjoy your homemade Big Mac!
