This weekend, we’ve had the honor of placing flowers at headstones across our community — a quiet reminder that Memorial Day is about remembrance, sacrifice, and love that lasts.

At The Flower Box, flowers often help say what words can’t. Today, we’re thinking of those who are deeply missed, fiercely loved, and never forgotten. 🇺🇸

We are closed today as we pause to reflect and give thanks for the brave men and women who made so much possible. ❤️

Can you guess who this is?

Yep… it’s Grandma Bernie.
The woman who opened The Flower Box back in 1983 and spent decades helping York celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, babies, proms, funerals, and all of life’s moments in between with flowers.

95 YEARS OLD!!! What an incredible milestone ✨

So many of you know her, love her, and have your own memories with her through the shop over the years. If you see her around town this week, make sure to wish her a happy birthday — it would absolutely make her day.
