As part of my trip to France in 2023 with and - we had the extraordinary opportunity to meet with and to learn about the upcoming transformation of the rue Jacob Parisian studio for the 2024 show

While sipping on rosé we were able to see and hold the stunning chinoiserie paper planned for the main room of rue Jacob. We were sworn to secrecy and I’ve been waiting to post this! Thank you Marta and Lizzie for trusting us with the secret😊

I am so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this group. The experiences were nothing short of incredible. The people, the food, the sights, the sounds and the never ending sources of inspiration will be with me for a very long time. And most importantly, I am grateful for the friendships developed. The connections and laughter shared over meals and ch*****ne were experiences.

I’ve just returned from France and was able to sneak in a visit to Sainte-Chapelle in Paris on our last day. We waited in line and walked up the spiral staircase. I literally gasped when I came around the corner and saw this and immediately had tears in my eyes. The colors, the light shining through, the collective murmur of awe -Pictures do not do it justice as much as I tried to capture the beauty of this majestic space. My trip was full of beauty and this was the perfect way to end my journey of inspiration. I will share more of what I saw and learned while I was gone. Stay tuned.

A quick capture of these pink flowers against the stone wall is a reminder to find beauty in the little things. One of the things I appreciate about French culture is the intent in which beauty and time are built into meals. There’s no rushing, no quick bites or eating on the run. A small vase of flowers, porcelain, linen napkins and glasses are placed on tables instead of paper and plastic, even with Uber eats! It’s a beautiful way to enjoy the food that nourishes our bodies and cherish time spent together with every meal.
