September is the PERFECT time to start a new art adventure! Here are some great beginner-level offerings here at YAS with our incredible local indie instructors:
✏️ SEPT DRAWING BASICS (4-Weeks)
w/ Lena (Rhizome Studio) - Drawing for complete beginners! This 4-week course focuses on drawing realistically from direct observation of the world around us, starting with still-life and fun exercises. Line drawing, proportion, perspective, and shading. Adults and teens ages 14+ (Tweens and preteens welcome with an adult also enrolled.) From $67 | Wednesdays from TONIGHT, Sept. 2, 6-8:30PM.

🎨 FALL ACRYLICS FOUNDATIONS (6-Weeks) w/ Payton (Payton James | Artist) - Explore painting during this introductory class to Acrylic Painting. This class is perfect for those who are new to painting but are interested in developing a new skill. We will begin by learning about color theory and color mixing. Painting should be fun and relaxing, so come learn the basics. No experience is necessary, but if you have some experience, bring it! Ages 16+ | From $180 | Tuesdays starting Sept. 8, 3-5PM.
FALL PRINTMAKING 101 (4-Weeks) w/ Lena (Rhizome Studio) - Printmaking projects in linocut, drypoint, monotype, and collagraph for complete beginners. Design and print your own original images, and learn to use an etching press! Adults and teens ages 14+ (Tweens and preteens welcome with an adult also enrolled.) From $67 | Saturdays from Sept. 12, 10AM - 12:30PM.
🌜⭐️ CELESTIAL PENDANT WIRE WRAPPING JEWELRY CLASS w/ Joelyn (Joelyn Welch) - Join Joelyn for this wire wrapping beginner jewelry class! You’ll learn how to work with wire and beautiful star- or moon-shaped stones to make pendant necklaces. Ages 15+ | From $20 | Sunday, Sept. 27, 2-4:00PM.
