A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out today and supported all of our amazing vendors at The Pit Stop’s first Autumn Market! 🍂🎃

We had a great turnout, and we couldn’t be happier with how the day went! We truly appreciate everyone who stopped by, shopped small, and showed some love to our local vendors. ❤️

We’re excited to announce our raffle winners! 🎟️🎉 Winners will be receiving a text message shortly!

Starting a business from scratch is not for the weak. I knew going into this that it would take a lot of hard work, patience, and time. I never expected to start making a profit overnight.

What some people may not realize is that I still have a day job. I help my husband run his company, and that’s what pays our bills. My new business is finding its footing and slowly growing, but it’s nowhere near the point of quitting my day job. And I’m okay with that.

That’s the reality of entrepreneurship that people don’t always talk about. You can pour your heart into something, work countless hours, and still not see much financial return in the beginning.

I’ll always encourage people to chase their dreams, but I’ll also encourage them to be realistic. Dream big, but don’t put yourself in a financial hole trying to make that dream happen overnight.

Success takes time. Sometimes you have to work your regular job to support the dream you’re building on the side.

And there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that. ❤️

Two years ago, I was ready to open, but the Town had other plans. I tried to do everything the “right” way, followed the rules, and jumped through all the hoops. In the end, all it got me was wasted time, money, and a whole lot of frustration. But I never gave up on the vision I had for this little store. ❤️
