Let’s talk about something brides ask me all the time: “My bouquet was silk, not fresh.. can I still get a keepsake?”
Yes! And honestly, it opens up more possibilities, not fewer. 🌻
With fresh florals, my process starts with silica gel drying- carefully removing all the moisture so the flowers hold their color and shape for good. Silk and artificial blooms skip that step entirely, since they’re already permanent. That means I get to spend more time on the part I love most: the design.✨
This piece for Madalyn & Azure is a perfect example… their sunflowers, gerbera daisies, and ranunculus layered with pieces of their invitation suite, wedding photos, and both their wedding veil & flower crown from the day. 🤍
It’s not about whether the flowers were real. It’s about capturing what the day actually felt like.
