After removing the carpet, we found the concrete in rough shape. It took 31 bags of self-leveling compound to get the floor ready for installation!

✅ Subfloor leveled to meet installation tolerances

Proper subfloor preparation is critical to the performance and longevity of floating floors. Even though it gets covered up, we make sure it's done right!

🔥 ANOTHER ONE IN THE BOOKS! 🔥

Just wrapped this project up this morning — 3½ days from start to finish! 👊

1,100 sq. ft. of 18” x 24” LVT

Installed in a 1/3 offset pattern for a clean, modern look.

We also removed:

• Carpet from the living room, dining room & office

• Tile from the front entry & powder bath

We tore out 450ft of glue down carpet. After removing the carpet we discovered the concrete to be in pretty bad shape. We spent several hours scrapping glue, grinding paint and high spots, and then full poured 25 bags of self leveling compound. Today we went back and installed 450ft of LVP, and new white base shoe. Well have to go back to install transitions, because the supplier lost them 🙄 but we got majority of it done!

1250ft LVP install. This was our second install for our newest builder in Blue Sage.

First install for our newest builder. 1800ft of Karastan LVP. Turned out phenomenal!

We tore out an old LVP floor that had failed due to moisture issues, and improper installation. Then full pour leveled this entire basement in 3 phases because of all the furniture, installed 1500ft of LVP, and replaced the trim.

This job broke some records for us. After everything was torn out we realized the concrete had sank quite a bit along the foundation. As much as 1" in some areas! So the cut lines had opened up from the original 1/8th inch to 3/4 inch and larger in one room. We used a foam backer rod to fill the gaps and caulked over them with self leveling concrete caulking, then we primed, and poured a record 61 bags of self leveling compound, which we had to do in 3 phases because of all the furniture. Then we installed 1500ft of LVP, and base shoe, and moved all the furniture back. This house went from one of the most unlevel basements, to the flattest basement in Omaha!

There isn't much we can't fix, and we enjoy a good challenge from time to time!
