The Unicorn and Narwhal's Trove is joining the Etsy strike. From April 11th-18th my shop will be on vacation mode to protest recent 30% fee increase and policy changes. Etsy has found ways again and again to get more money out of the many small businesses that gave it its claim to such high profits in 2020 and 2021. As a seller I have no access to Etsy customer service. Forced into ad fees I didn't sign up for. Shops can be deprioritized in searches for charging shipping in a time where shipping costs have risen 3 times since last November. I'm not Amazon. I am a small business with limited resources.

I'm not asking customers to abandon Etsy as a platform. I ask customers to refrain from purchasing between April 11th and 18th and use your voice to tell Etsy enough is enough. I am grateful for any customers supporters.
