Welcome to Threaded by Jules ! Iām Julie, the creator of Threaded by Jules handmade, lightweight, crochet earrings inspired by vintage crochet doilies from the past.
My mom taught me how to crochet around the age of 12 and I have been hooked on crochet ever since. (Yep, I love a good pun š). I have a collection of intricate doilies crafted by my great-grandmothers, grandmothers, mother and me. So I guess crocheting runs in the family.
I love to crochet to keep my hands and brain busy. I find it to be a very relaxing activity that brings me calm and contentment. I started playing around with micro crocheting because who doesnāt love tiny things, especially tiny doilies you can wear!
My daughter is a big fan of Threaded by Jules and an influencer in my work. She also does all my photography. Maybe when she turns 12, sheāll carry on the crocheting tradition in our family. We shall see!
