Sharing a few of our go-to’s for a full, layered bed. There are so many ways to mix and match and you really can’t go wrong. Pro Tip: Mix colors + pattern scales!
Formula: Sheets + Blanket + Duvet Cover + Quilt folded at the end of the bed.
• First, order the best ever pillow inserts from our shop- seriously we use them in all projects and they will change how you sleep. Start with 4 sleeping pillows. King size for king beds and standard for Queen and Full.
• Select your sheets. We switch between a linen and high quality cotton for all of our projects. You can skip the flat sheet if you’re using duvet cover. This is a fun spot for a pattern- think little stripe or mini-floral!
• Layer in your blanket- another great option to mix in a color or pattern here.
• Next, grab a good quality linen duvet cover and use an all season insert.
• A quilt folded the end keeps that extra layer at hand for cold nights.
• Throw pillow combos: King- 3 24” with a long lumber and Queen- 2 24” with a long lumbar. You can also skip the throw pillows and use a long lumbar layered in front of your sleeping pillows. It’s all about preference!

Now hop on in and binge watch your favorite show!

A cozy bedroom is one of my favorite spaces to create- a place to rest and to recharge creativity, patience, focus, problem solving skills, I swear it’s magic.

Getting personal here so scroll on if you’re not interested...I’m working hard to be intentional about rest these days. Having spent years in an “I can only rely on myself” mentality led to working crazy long hours and weeks with no days off. Fearing if I lifted for even a moment, everything would fall apart. That doesn’t really leave any room for growth, for dreaming and planning or just living in general. a.k.a. happiness. I hit a wall HARD and of course everything has felt like it’s falling apart. But what felt like God abandoning me was actually Him very patiently and kindly teaching me that my way doesn’t work. He’s been showing me that He’s got it all under control. That true rest is in Him. So, that’s where this season is at the moment and I’m excited to lean into things that bring joy. Whether that’s a spontaneous trip or a fun project- rest and intention is where we’re at. ♥️

You know when you’re trying to fall asleep and your brain decides it’s the perfect time to start thinking about random things? Well, this room has been one of mine lately.
Maybe it’s the comforters. Maybe it’s the fact that this is basically every little girl’s dream room. Whatever it is, I keep coming back to it.

Wall art collages feel like a design spread… just on your wall and actually lived with. And that’s what makes them so fun. Layers of pieces that work together and make a space feel more like you.

Be honest… you’d stay here and suddenly forget you were “just visiting.”

A lot of photos you see are styled for the camera. Because let’s be honest, nobody is living with a throw folded perfectly 24/7 in that effortless-but-somehow-aesthetic way.

But good interior design is not about making your house feel staged all the time. The goal is for it to feel beautiful and lived in. Like a space that can handle real life, messy mornings, people actually sitting on the sofa, and a blanket getting tossed wherever.

For example, this stool was photographed in three different spots around the bathroom. No, there are not secretly three stools living in there. But it does get used in everyday life, and that’s the point. Styling helps tell the story, but the space still has to work for the people living in it.

The best homes are the ones that look good and feel loved. That’s always the goal.

Kinda wish I was out working here right about now… Instead I’m inside staring at these photos pretending I can feel the sunshine through my screen.
