Soyoung marks a leap into a new era with FW23, embracing the future and technology. Creating the image of a mature, independent cat, she exudes a sharp, unique personality—bold, courageous, confident in her pursuits, and tirelessly redefining new fashion standards. The boundary between 'real and virtual' is embodied in 'SOYOUNG THE NEXT GENS'—the way the younger generation is gradually leaving their influence in every field, from culture and art to society. Each Alpha generation leads trends and domains, expressing a new perspective that this generation is steadily asserting.
Psychological trauma, school violence, societal detachment, increasing generational gaps, peer pressure—these are the daily challenges she faces on the journey of self-discovery. Daring to pause, introspect, and bravely confront wounds, Soyoung wants to speak up, contribute a collective voice to fight for youth issues, modern and positive.
Introducing SYGALS into the future world of technology blurs the line between 'real and virtual.' It materializes the virtual archetype into real life through designs that are both futuristic and highly practical. Here, SYGALS are warriors armed with modern, unique weapons that surpass imaginative limits. We are not just creating fashion; beneath it lies the story of materials, shaping ideas, and the pinnacle of creative exploration in the 'small universe' of the designers themselves.
SOYOUNG brings FW23 as a representative statement for the younger generation, turning abstract ideas into beautifully tangible and invulnerable realities.
