Floating markets

🛶 Alongside Mekong Delta clustered many markets where goods are sold on boats. Thai Land and Vietnam are the two countries that are most known for this type of market. For long floating market has been a way of life and trade for Mekong dwellers.

🛶 Most common things to be found at this market are seasonal fruits, veggies, snacks, and fast foods. In the areas where there are a lot of rivers and canals, people have to use boats for both daily commune and transporting merchandise. Since then floating markets are created as a way to make use of the waterway.

🛶 From a casual mean livelihood, floating market now become a cultural aspect and a captivating experience in Mekong Delta.
