Just visited my h**p supplier in the northern mountains of Hà Giang 🌿 Still feeling the same excitement as the very first days I discovered that h**p craftsmanship truly exists in Vietnam — it never stops fascinating me 🥰

Every trip teaches me something new about this 4,000-year-old heritage. Yesterday, Mrs. Mỷ (my artisan) told me that only those with “duyên” — a destined connection — can make the h**p soft and white after each hand wash. Whitening h**p, she said, isn’t for everyone 🙀

This time, a few friends joined me as we explored ideas for a social impact project around this traditional craft 🤩

❤️ Viết chút cho ngày hôm nay 2/9/2025, tròn 80 năm kể từ 2/9/1945 - ngày Quốc Khánh của đất nước Việt Nam tôi.

Mang trong mình dòng máu người Việt hàng ngàn năm lịch sử, tôi vẫn đang hàng ngày cống hiến chút sức lực của mình để cho ra đời các sản phẩm mà tôi có thể tự hào nói rằng chúng là những sản phẩm độc bản hoàn toàn thuần Việt, hoàn toàn thủ công mà bạn không thể tìm thấy ở bất kì đâu trên thế giới.

Sản phẩm của tôi, từ những nguyên liệu cốt lõi đầu tiên cho đến công đoạn hoàn thiện cuối cùng đều được làm thủ công từ đôi tay của những người phụ nữ Việt Nam - nhỏ bé nhưng tần tảo, kiên cường và đầy nhiệt huyết với cuộc đời.

Công việc của tôi và các chị em là những công việc "đằng sau cánh gà" không chút khoa trương màu mè. Đó là công việc của sự cặm cụi, tỉ mỉ ngày ngày với đôi bàn tay qua năm tháng sẽ ngày càng nhiều những vết chai da.

Vậy nên tôi yêu những sản phẩm này. Một phần nhỏ bởi vì chúng được sinh ra từ óc sáng tạo của mình, còn phần lớn là vì chúng chính là những "người con tâm hồn" của mảnh đất Việt.

🇻🇳 Ngẫm nghĩ một lúc hoá ra tôi đã yêu say đắm đất nước tôi từ lúc nào rồi, đúng không nhỉ? 🙂

Dịp này chúng mình được đồng hành cùng với tổ chức SCDI và Mỗi ngày một quả trứng - One Egg a Day. Với việc trích 15% doanh thu bán hàng, chúng mình hy vọng đóng góp được chút công sức cho dự án

Dự án Cắt đứt vòng xoáy là một chương trình của SCDI thực hiện từ năm 2020 với sự tài trợ của ngân hàng HSBC Vietnam. Dự án tập trung vào việc hỗ trợ học tập cho trẻ em trong các gia đình nghèo khó nhất, bị ảnh hưởng nặng nề nhất bởi đại dịch. Bởi vì, bằng chứng ở khắp nơi trên thế giới đã cho thấy rằng giáo dục là con đường hiệu quả nhất để cắt đứt vòng xoáy của nghèo đói.
