Dads are notoriously hard to shop for. They rarely "need" anything new. But if there’s one thing most dads truly respect, it’s a craft that takes time, patience, and real elbow grease.

A linocut print isn’t just an image. It’s the result of hours spent carving away rubber, making mistakes, and pressing ink into textured, handmade paper. It has weight. It has flaws. It shows the labor.

There's something quietly powerful about holding a tool and deciding, right here, what shape this moment takes.
At Leap And Linger, our linocut workshop isn't just a class. It's 2.5 - 4 hours of slowing down, carving something that belongs entirely to you, no templates, no rush, no wrong answers. 🌸

You'll carve your own stamp from a rubber lino sheet. You'll roll ink. You'll press it onto Vietnamese Dó paper (Traditional handmade paper) with texture unlike anything you've touched before. You'll leave with your carved rubber stamp, your prints, and the quiet satisfaction of having made something real.

✨ One-on-one. Private. Snacks included (Always). No experience needed, just hands and a little curiosity.

Dragon of the Year: Toothless, Lucky, and... Stylish? 🐉👒

Meet "Ơ Kìa Nón Lá" (Oh wow, Conical Hat) – likely the only dragon in the Hồ Dynasty history who prefers fashion over ferocity.

Don't let that missing tooth fool you! 🦷 This dragon (along with his best friend Nghê Hê Hê) is actually a certified celebrity. This artwork has already been selected for two exhibitions. He might look goofy, but his resume is serious! 🏆

When Nhichancanh finished the sketch based on an ancient relic, she realized something: This dragon looked too... goofy. He was opening his mouth wide, yet clearly missing a tooth (sún răng). So, she did what any stylist would do: She put a Nón Lá (Conical Hat) on his head to make him cuter.

🍀 The Lucky Secret: Look closely at his scales! They aren't just scales; they are stylized four-leaf clovers. A hidden charm for good luck in the New Year.

🔪 The "Regret": Carving that hat was a nightmare. Hundreds of tiny slats... It was the moment the artist questioned her life choices. But looking at the final print? Worth every cramp.

In Vietnamese culture, the Nghê is a mythical creature (a fusion of a lion and a loyal dog) that stands guard at temples and homes, protecting them from bad vibes.

Unlike scary gargoyles in the West, Nhichancanh’s Nghê is laughing ("Hê Hê"). Because she believes the best protection comes from joy, not fear.

Who is Nhichancanh?
They often ask me: "Are you a Fashion Designer? An Artist? A Painter? Or a Potter?"

To be honest, I fear labels. I fear being boxed into one definition for a lifetime. For me, fashion, painting, or clay are simply different languages to express the same soul. I graduated in Fashion Design to learn how to simplify beauty, but I turned to Art to amplify my voice.

I am Nhichancanh - a Creator, and the Founder of Leap And Linger. A Libra born in October who craves it all, explores it all, and refuses to stand still.

And that is how Leap And Linger was born from a young graduate with no connections, just a burning desire to create a sanctuary for "unlabeled" art. ✨ Leap is the brave jump of youth into the unknown. ✨ Linger is the timeless value of art that stays with you.

This space is where I, and other young Vietnamese artists, proudly showcase our contemporary culture to the world.
