Exhibition Walk-through | 3 Weeks of Design 2026
On Saturday 13.06.2026, Gallery Medium will host two Exhibition Walk-through sessions as part of 3 Weeks of Design 2026.
This year’s competition presents more than 45 finalist works from a diverse range of disciplines and backgrounds, including designers, artists, and participants beyond the design field. Responding to the theme “A Seat for Anywhere”, the finalists offer distinct interpretations that explore how design can shape experiences, interactions, and everyday life.
The walk-through sessions provide an opportunity to gain deeper insight into the concepts, processes, and narratives behind the exhibited works.

DESIGN BEYOND OBJECTS: Conversations on Practice, Process, and Possibility

On Sunday, 14.06.2026, Gallery Medium and participants from the 3 Weeks of Design 2026 Competition will host a panel talk exploring design beyond the objects we create.
Bringing together finalists from diverse backgrounds and disciplines, the conversation will reflect on personal journeys, creative processes, and the many ways design shapes how we think, make, and engage with the world. From navigating different paths into design to discussing the challenges and possibilities of contemporary practice, the panel offers an opportunity to hear directly from the voices behind this year’s competition.

Vào Chủ Nhật, ngày 14.06.2026, Gallery Medium cùng các thí sinh của cuộc thi 3 Weeks of Design 2026 sẽ tổ chức buổi panel talk xoay quanh những góc nhìn về thiết kế vượt ra ngoài phạm vi của một vật thể.
Quy tụ các thí sinh đến từ nhiều lĩnh vực và nền tảng khác nhau, buổi trò chuyện sẽ chia sẻ những hành trình cá nhân, quá trình sáng tạo và những cách mà tư duy thiết kế đang hiện diện trong đời sống, công việc và các thực hành đương đại. Từ những ngả đường khác nhau đến với thiết kế cho đến những cơ hội và thách thức trong quá trình thực hành, đây là dịp để lắng nghe trực tiếp những câu chuyện phía sau các tác phẩm của mùa giải năm nay.

CERAMIC EXHIBITION

As part of Made for Living, the theme of 3 Weeks of Design 2026, this ceramics exhibition reflects on the role of handmade objects in everyday life. Bringing together 18 ceramists, the exhibition celebrates works shaped through making, use, and daily presence.

Rooted in the authenticity of process and the distinct sensibilities of their makers, these ceramic pieces balance utility with aesthetic intention, revealing how thoughtfully crafted objects can quietly enrich daily rituals and domestic spaces.

Featured are the ceramics of Alice Vouland, a French artist living and working in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam, Sigsana, Danyramica, Ngây and Ceramagic Studio.

FURNITURE | CERAMICS EXHIBITION

Featured here is some pieces from Vỏ Collection by Pauline de Roquefeuil, a French designer based in Ho Chi Minh City. Paying homage to Vietnam’s rich traditions of lacquer and inlay craftsmanship, the collection reinterprets these artisanal techniques through a contemporary lens. On display is a console featuring sculptural lacquered organic legs and an eggshell-inlaid tabletop, alongside a set of vibrant orange and green lacquer side tables, each meticulously finished with eggshell mosaics.

Suspended above the console is a set of quirky, colourful ceramic hooks by Nguyễn Đình Phúc, originally created for the 2025 edition of 3 Weeks of Design.

A SEAT FOR ANYWHERE

3 Weeks of Design returns this May for its third season with the theme “Made for Living.” Running from May 30 – June 21, 2026 at Gallery Medium, this year’s edition is presented with the support of main sponsor Dulux Vietnam, bringing together more than 45 emerging designers and 17 ceramic artists, alongside independent furniture designers and local brands across Vietnam.

Returning for its second season, 3 Weeks of Design competition, centered around the design prompt “A Seat for Anywhere,” joins the event with an open-ended exploration of how people live, sit, rest, and interact with space today. The competition received more than 200 submissions from Vietnam and abroad. From these, over 45 finalists were selected ranging from professional designers to independent artists and self-taught creatives. Awards will be presented in five categories: Best Design, Best Concept, Best Fabrication, Best Sustainable Practice, and People’s Favourite, all voted by the public. Results will be announced at the closing ceremony on 21.06.2026.
