Danh họa Wu Guanzhong (1919–2010) là một trong những nghệ sĩ tiên phong kết nối tinh thần hội họa phương Đông với ngôn ngữ tạo hình hiện đại. Chịu ảnh hưởng từ Cézanne, Matisse, Bonnard và chủ nghĩa hiện đại Pháp, ông phát triển một phong cách riêng: giàu tính tạo hình nhưng vẫn giữ được sự tiết chế, thi vị và chiều sâu Á Đông.
Lấy cảm hứng từ cảnh sắc Giang Nam và ngôn ngữ tạo hình đầy chất thơ ấy, XGalerie giới thiệu bộ sưu tập mới như một cuộc đối thoại giữa truyền thống và đương đại.
Không phải những bản sao của quá khứ, mà là những diễn giải mới. Những khoảng trống gợi tinh thần thủy mặc, những nét cọ tự do như thư pháp, cùng lớp sơn dầu được xử lý trên nền vải bố g*i thủ công để lưu giữ vẻ đẹp thô mộc và chân thực của chất liệu.

Jiangnan, in memory, is the still surface of water after the rain, slender branches bowing gently in the wind, and blossoms blooming and falling softly upon old tiled rooftops.
Wu Guanzhong (1919–2010) was one of the pioneering artists who bridged the spirit of Eastern painting with the language of modern art. Influenced by Cézanne, Matisse, Bonnard, and French modernism, he developed a distinctive visual language, rich in formal expression, yet marked by restraint, poetic sensibility, and the quiet depth of the East.
Inspired by the landscapes of Jiangnan and this lyrical visual language, XGalerie presents a new collection as a dialogue between tradition and contemporary life.
These are not replicas of the past, but new interpretations. Spaces that echo the spirit of ink painting, brushstrokes flowing with the freedom of calligraphy, and layers of oil paint carefully built upon hand-prepared coarse canvas, preserving the raw authenticity and tactile beauty of the material itself.
Some paintings are like a tranquil lake after the rain. Some evoke the first arrival of the blooming season. Others leave behind only a few delicate traces of colour, as fragile as memories at the end of the day.
