“So, what’s your vision for this room?”

To fill it. … And then some.

When I started this journey, this is what I dreamed of. Of having a space filled with products I’ve spent so much time sourcing from India, creating, and bringing to life.

The last two years have been incredibly challenging, especially with tariffs and everything that comes with running a business that depends on a global supply chain.

But despite it all, we’re still growing, still expanding, and still finding ways to make this dream bigger.

Sometimes I have to take a step back and remind myself that this is what manifesting a dream looks like. Not always easy, but so worth it.

And we’re just getting started.

Diwali in our home has always been about the little things that make this time of year feel special. A freshly cleaned home, new bedding, gifts chosen with thought, a house full of friends and family, and moments of prayer and gratitude.

These are the traditions we come back to year after year. Some are about getting our homes ready, others about bringing people together, but all of them remind us what this festival means to us.

Every family celebrates a little differently, and I’d love to know, what are some of your Diwali traditions?

One of my favorite things about the festive season is having my favorite people around my table. I called this little get-together Samosas with Mimosas and invited my closest friends, my real-life diyas, for an afternoon of good food, mimosas, and just being together.

I set the table with some of my favorite Arjuna pieces, and honestly, these are the moments I love most. Having everyone gathered around, catching up, laughing over the smallest things, and never really wanting the afternoon to end.

There’s something so special about opening your home to the people you love, making things feel a little extra special, and creating a space where everyone feels at home.

For me, that’s what this season is all about. A beautiful table is lovely, of course, but it’s the people around it who make it memorable.

Diwali maxed out already? And we’re still more than two weeks away.

The feeds are full of festive tablescapes, gift guides, over-the-top outfits and homes dressed for the season. And while I love every bit of it, I think it’s worth pausing to remember what Diwali is really about.

At its heart, Diwali is a celebration of light over darkness, good over evil, and hope over despair. It’s about renewal, gratitude, gathering with the people we love, and making space for a little more light in our lives.

So by all means, decorate the home, lay out the beautiful table, find the thoughtful gifts and celebrate all the little traditions that make this festival special.

Just don’t let the noise of the season drown out its meaning.

Because beyond everything we buy, make, wear and share, the heart of Diwali remains the same: may there always be more light than darkness, in our homes and in our lives.

As the festive content fills our feeds and the celebrations begin to take over, let’s enjoy it all without losing the plot.
