Well… The end of my Koco Home era has arrived!

4 days short of our 4th birthday the doors have closed to you all for the last time. I have loved my shop, it was something I always wanted to do, so I made it happen, 4 years later the funny world we live in had a sad impact on my business but that’s ok, it is what it is & who knows what the future brings.

A massive thank you to every single person that supported my business, I loved helping you find things that you either made part of your home or gave as a gift to someone special (there has been plenty of present wrapping in 4 years). I will miss all of the lovely people that have become friends, the laughs we had, the conversation both light hearted or deep & serious; they have been a pleasure. I’m certain I’ll see you around & will always look forward to another chat!

Thank you to the staff I’ve had over the 4 years, Lily & Lily in the very early days, Makailee, Jaime & my longest serving staff member Lesley - thanks for working for/with me & being part of this era of my life.

The packing up & moving out part is still to come but we are now officially closed!

My website is still live for any candle orders, and I am still yet to work out the future of KT, I’ll keep you posted as it’s been a bit busy lately & I haven’t had time to think!

Getting down to the VERY pointy end of this closing down business. I had no idea what the best way to navigate this last week as I’ve never done this before but when I got home tonight I decided that I’d much prefer to end up with an empty shop than have to pack it & move it.

August will forever be a special month.

It’s when my business opened & 4 years later it’s when it will close, nearly 4 years to the day.

Thanks to the lovely people who have delivered flowers, chocolates (my favourite), home made lemon slice, brownies & cards to me with lovely kind words within.

I will certainly miss the people I’ve developed beautiful friendships with & will most definitely miss the great conversations & many laughs had in the past 4 years.

8 days of trade to go, but only 6 for me as this weekend is my weekend off 🖤
