We champion artists and makers from Essex, Suffolk, and Cambridge. We do not accept buy-in items or 3D printed products. Our events take place in unique locations across Essex & Suffolk. We are committed to championing local small businesses, whether they are makers, artists, designers, or producers of their own products(no buy-in or 3D printed products), and giving them the chance to reach new customers.

A brilliant family day out in Finchingfield, Essex, with a fantastic atmosphere — including a dog show, children’s races, the adults’ race, and lots more throughout the afternoon. ✨ Meet Wee Bothy Art at Open Gardens Finchingfield — Saturday 30 May 2026, 11am–4pm.

Browse a beautiful selection of handmade lino & screen prints plus:

- Prints, cards & napkins
- Table runners, cushions & teatowels
- Lanterns, lampshades & lavender bags

We’re a family-run studio (me and my mum), designing and printing everything ourselves — inspired by nature, handmade in the UK, using eco-friendly materials where possible. After 4 years of events across the South East & London, we can’t wait to bring our work to Finchingfield & Cornish Hall End.

Tickets available on the day from:

- Shore Hall (ideal if you’re starting in Cornish Hall End)

See a real artist at work — LIVE painting in the gardens in Finchingfield and/or Cornish Hall End (plein air)!

A special extra on Open Gardens Day: local artist Helen Wiseman will be visiting selected gardens and painting live outdoors. Come and wander at your own pace and you might spot the artwork taking shape in real time — a brilliant added bonus for your day out. We will also have a selection of Helen's amazing artwork for sale in Finchingfield Guildhall on the day.

The Open Garden Exhibition will showcase a wide selection of professional floral paintings and prints at the Guildhall in Finchingfield. A portion of all sales will be donated to the Guildhall to support the upkeep and maintenance of this Grade I listed building.
