If you love colour, a little bit of pattern and interiors that make you smile, then I think you’re in the right place!

Come on in, stay a while and have a look around my colourful little corner of the world. So happy to have you here!

I was definitely feeling stressed when mould started appearing on my ensuite wallpaper, despite taking every precaution I possibly could.

As frustrating as it was, I decided it was time for a change. Knowing wallpaper just wasn’t going to work in here, I took matters into my own hands and created my own painted “wallpaper”, adding panelling for extra depth and texture. 🤍

What started as a bit of a disaster turned into something even more beautiful than I imagined, and the whole process became so much more than just redecorating. It was a chance to slow down, switch off and get lost in something creative.

A little reminder that sometimes the things that don’t go to plan can lead to something even better.

The only person who has to love your home is you.

Not your neighbours, not your friends or family and definitely not strangers on the internet

A home isn’t about impressing everyone else, it’s about creating a space that feels uniquely like you.

If you walk through the door and breathe a little easier, you’ve got it right.

What is the one thing in your home that makes you smile every day?

Ad | I’ve been wanting to create a cosy reading corner in my bedroom for the longest time, and I finally have one… thanks to the X3 Recliner Electric Armchair

The moment I sat in it, I knew it was exactly what I’d been looking for. The thick cushioning and supportive padding make it incredibly comfortable, while the sturdy metal frame (supporting up to 150kg) makes it feel really well made too.

One of my favourite features is the two side pockets – perfect for keeping my current book and little essentials within easy reach.

The electric recline is so simple to use. With the touch of a button, it smoothly adjusts from 105° to 155°, with the backrest and footrest moving together. You can also fine-tune the position using the up and down controls before returning it upright when you’re done.

I’ve been using it for just over a week now, and honestly… I don’t know how I ever lived without it! I’ve been reaching for my book so much more because I finally have a cosy, comfortable space that’s just for me. It’s the perfect spot to unwind, switch off, and get lost in a good book.

Ad | Who says you need wallpaper to make a statement?

Our old wallpaper sadly couldn’t cope with the steam from the shower, so this time I decided to recreate the look with paint instead… and I’m so happy I did!

I used Earthborn Claypaint, and it was an absolute dream to work with. The coverage was amazing, making the whole project so much easier, and I love the beautiful soft, matt finish it gives.

One of the reasons I chose it is because it’s naturally breathable, helping walls cope with everyday moisture while creating a soft, calming finish. It’s also low VOC, eco friendly and gives such a gorgeous, timeless look to the space.

Now I have the wallpaper-inspired bathroom I loved, but created entirely with paint. Sometimes the best transformations come from thinking a little differently!

Would you ever swap wallpaper for a hand-painted design?

Colours used:
Earthborn Claypaint (walls)
Gosh Golly
Rosie Posie
Cupcake
Little Sprout
Poppet

A home should tell a story.

Colour, texture, light, and the little details all come together to create spaces that feel alive. Every room deserves its own personality, its own mood and its own moment to shine.

This is mine 🩷

Why paint a chopping board?

Because I can’t resist adding a little whimsy to everyday things. If it’s going to sit on my kitchen counter, it might as well be pretty too.

I firmly believe a home should be filled with pieces that make you smile!

Would you paint a chopping board, or would you leave it plain?

Anyone else find pretty things too hard to leave behind?

I couldn’t resist bringing this little plate home with me last week and have been (im)patiently waiting for the adhesive disc to arrive ever since so I could get it up on the wall.

I’m really loving adding the 2nd plate to this narrow wall but it’s also got me thinking that there was a 3rd design?!

Do I need a 3rd one?

Breaking news: Apparently my decor is a threat to men!

Every now and then, this little gem appears in my comments and what makes it even funnier is that I’ve been married for 22 years.

I’m very lucky that 99% of the comments I receive are so lovely and supportive, which is very much appreciated, but every creator knows there’s always that one comment that keeps making a comeback.

Thankfully, my husband has somehow survived 22 years surrounded by florals, pretty cushions and all the other terrifyingly feminine decor.

Moral of the story? Decorate your home for the people who actually live in it… not for random people in your comment section.

Now it’s your turn…
What’s the most ridiculous comment you’ve ever received about your home? I have a feeling this could get interesting!

The biggest misconception about pink? That it’s not a grown up colour.

In reality, pink is incredibly versatile. Soft plaster pinks, earthy blushes, rich berry tones, they can feel timeless, calming, luxurious, and surprisingly neutral.

Perhaps it’s time we stopped assigning colours personalities and started appreciating what they bring to a space instead.

Now excuse me while I continue adding pink to every room.

What’s a colour that you’ll always defend?
