Watching ideas transform from sketches on my desk to real-life projects never gets old - that's what makes my job so amazing!

An ongoing project I’m currently working on 🤍

We’re still in the design phase — refining layout, zoning, and material direction before any construction begins.

This is the part that matters most to me.
Not just how the space will look, but how it will feel and function every day.

Creating clearer zones, introducing warmth, and building a layered material palette that brings depth without overwhelming the space.

A thoughtful mix of wood, soft neutrals, and brushed gold accents — all working together to create a calm, cohesive interior.

Good design starts long before renovation.

Can’t wait to see this one come to life.

This office started as a plain rental space with black carpet and damaged walls.

Instead of renovating heavily, I focused on color, textiles and reusing furniture.

Swipe to see the transformation.

Choosing between natural stone and engineered stone is one of the decisions almost every renovation eventually faces.

Both materials can look beautiful. Both have their advantages. But after years of working with interiors and seeing how materials age, I’ve come to appreciate natural stone more and more.

What I love about natural stone is its depth, variation, and character. No two slabs are the same, and over time, the small marks and wear often become part of its beauty.

When we renovated our own kitchen, we chose engineered stone because it felt like the more practical option at the time.

But if I’m honest…

I sometimes wish I had chosen natural stone instead.

There is something about real stone that simply feels timeless.

That said, every home and lifestyle is different, and both materials can work beautifully depending on how the space is used.

So I’m curious:
If you were renovating today, what would you choose?

Natural stone or engineered stone?

This is a design for a studio apartment transformation. A very small basement space can also have great potential. I am actually excited about this one. Interior courtyards are proven very useful in the Czech climate.

I hope that your January is good. I am taking it slow but also working on some exciting projects, both related to work and on a personal level (like making my new office space cozy). So that I am not missing in action, I have decided to post a small update and hope you will tune into my progress. I love these new IG format posts, where you get to tell a story. I love reading those by others, actually more than videos! And I love that IG is becoming a more real, unfiltered space. So there, my update, unfiltered.

Do you prefer video stories or post stories like this one?
