My favorite flower! This passion flower is having a resurgent bloom in the garden. Unfortunately, this hybrid variety contains cyanogenic compounds and can't be used in teas. We do have a native maypop, passiflora incarnata alba with white flowers by our fence, but it hasn't produced. I may have to destroy this one so it doesn't cross pollinate and possibly toxify the passion fruit of the other. It would be a shame, this one is so lovely.
