Daudi Tingatinga, the only son of Edward Saidi Tingatinga, initiator and founder of the Tinga Tinga Art style, passed away yesterday 12 May.

Daudi was only six years when his father passed away, but was encouraged by the relatives to continue painting in his father’s style. Daudi leaves behind 2 teenagers children: Saidi and Cecilia.
Martina sister of Daudi, here below in the picture, is still very active in the Tinga Tinga movement. Let us pray together with the family.

Saidi Omary is young Tinga Tinga painter born in 1979 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
