Sometimes art calls you back. I returned to my chalk roots for this vibrant mural at in downtown Willoughby—featuring wings inspired by Colette Miller’s iconic work. A full-circle, pastel-covered moment. 🦋✨

This wasn’t just a mural—it felt like a little cosmic wink. I’ve been whispering to the universe that I wanted change… something fresh… maybe even a return to my chalk roots (shout out to high school pastel days + my 8+ years as a chalkboard artist at Market District). Then BAM—Meg and I crossed paths during my spa appointment, and she said she had just been thinking about me for this very project. Kismet. 💫

Here’s what I learned from this magical (and muscle-sore) experience:
1. Shoulder day is real. And I need it. 🫠
2. You never have enough white chalk. Bring more.
3. Water helps the chalk blend on brick… but gravity is a messy little beast.
4. The universe is listening—put it out there. Take the shot. You never know.
5. Perfection is overrated. Brick is brutal. And pro chalk muralists? Y’all are superheroes. 🧱🎨

Thank you Meg for the trust, and thank you Willoughby for always inspiring me. I hope everyone who walks past takes a photo, smiles a little bigger, or just feels seen. 💖

Hi! It's me, took a short break from IG to breathe haha but I will be slowly adding more adorable paintings that I have done since my holiday rush.. . 😅

Any who, I love painting black cats, they are a beautiful challenge to add all the colors in their black fur. 🖤 Do you have a black cat you want me to paint?
