Ticktin Timbers uses only the finest quality hardwoods from North America, West Africa, South East Asia, Europe and Brazil, selling it to the market in bundles or as loose boards. We specialise in hardwoods such as White Oak, Kiaat, Hard Maple, European and Canadian Beech, Cherry, Obeche, Ash, Walnut, Rosewood, Teak, Balau, Iroko, Keruing and Meranti. Our decking includes Balau, Gerappa, Masaranduba and Cumara.
• Softwoods
Our softwood stocks include various grades of South African pine i.e. industrial grade, structural pine & clear pine.
• Board Products
We supply primarily to the shipping industry. Our marine ply and hardwood waterproof plywood carries the BS1088 as well as the BS1088+ Lloyds stamp of approval. Our Services

Our roots are firmly in the Cape, and today the company that started out as a family business has been taken over by Jeff Katz who has been involved in a family business for 30 years.
