Root Design Co. We are a side hustle flower farm and floral design studio. We grow the flowers we use in our bouquets. Our season runs from June - September.

We're taking a break from weddings. | Rosita & LaRonda We are event florists, growing our own flowers as a part of the Farmer Florist surge bringing foxglove, larkspur, and garden roses back to the American people. ;) Our floral season runs for the months of June-September. Our passion is to provide the community with fresh, beautiful flowers for your happiest days. And maybe the sad ones, too. We didn't know what to call ourselves, but as we were out digging in the dirt one evening planting Peonies and Lilacs, we decided that "Root" should be somewhere in the title. So, on a warm September evening, Root Design Company was born. Seasonal blooms are our specialty. We are based in Southeastern Ohio, and our season begins in June and ends in September.

It's rebellious, in a way, to choose joy, to dance, to love your life. It's much easier and much more common to be miserable. We could just live our normal, day-to-day lives saving all the good living up for someday, but I think it's our job to live each day like a special occasion. Because, we've been given a gift.

My July garden is a study in opposites.

Gorgeous first zinna blooms hovering over Japanese beetle chewed leaves.

A pretty row of hydrangeas just around the corner from some very seedy garden edges.

A happy, accidentally overwintered Blizzard dahlia blooming early a few rows down from the flopped snapdragon that never got staked. Whoops.

A lovely stand of foxglove next to a bed of weeds.

Last of all, some hefty pumpkin vines that might end up taking over the whole garden.
