Yuva Importer of kilims, runners, saddle-bags, cushions and decorative fragments, kilim-covered stools and

Originally established in 1995 by Mary Kelly, we're a specialist importer of kilims, and other vintage rugs, runners, saddle-bags, cushions and bags. Mary's daughter in law, Harriet Kelly joined the business in 2019 with the same love for woven collections. Harriet has since transformed Yuva into what it is today and aspires to carry on Mary's adoration and deep knowledge for quality handmade goods with a rich history. Our goal is to make these beautiful products accessible to everyone and bring a sense of warmth to homes across New Zealand. It's the colours, vibrancy and stories these pieces tell that ignited our passion.

O Y A • This vintage saddlebag was originally woven as part of a girls dowry and used to carry belongings across camels or donkeys.

Today, these old tribal bags are becoming harder to find. They are loved by collectors for their beautiful details, intricate weaving and rich sense of history. Plus, they’re so versatile and handy for storage!

This one is in excellent condition and is full of cheerful colour 🌈

R U G S H U F F L E • Just me, moving rugs around again ❤️

The rug ladder gets a refresh more often than I’d like to admit, but it’s all part of the fun of finding the perfect spot for each beautiful piece.
