Last week, my husband, my sister-in-law, and I travelled to Washington State to explore three incredible national parks: Olympic, Mount Rainier, and North Cascades.
We had nearly perfect weather, the wildflowers were in full bloom, and the views were spectacular!
One especially fun stop was Olympic Bluffs Cidery & Lavender Farm, with its beautiful orchards and lavender fields. We loved chatting with the owners who were stationed at WPAFB for several years and are now enjoying their second career as farmers. It really is a small world!
And for my fellow flower lovers, we also drove through the town where Erin Benzakein of Floret Flower Farm lives. If the farm were open to the public, I definitely would have stopped! The Skagit Valley is famous for its gorgeous spring fields of tulips and daffodils. It’s a hub for cut flower farming also.
