Ay up duck!🪿🦆
I haven't made a painted framed piece for a while but when I found a great frame in a charity shop (swipe through to the last picture) I decided it was time for another!
Outside Arts have kindly let me book their stall in the indoor Market in Leek on the 14th of November so I'll probably bring it with me then unless it sells before hand. (Nice to stay hopeful!)🖌️🫟🖼️🎨

A little bit of a departure from the larger portraits but I definitely want to return to some bigger faces again! This piece is a little more naive stylistically than some of my exhibition pieces but it has a common theme of creativity and freedom.
Children's artwork is wonderful and also not worrying about the outcome of your creativity is wonderful. A super power of being little I think! 🙂🫟🖌️

Thought I'd do a little post about the three years I've exhibited with Leek open Studios & Meet the Maker. Many thanks to the organisers and sponsors that bring together a really positive, creative and vibrant event! This type of show case has been so valuable for me. I've really appreciated it!! Thanks again to everyone that helps to make these days so happy!

A very sweet brother and sister portrait for my latest commission with a fun splash of colour for the background.🫟🎨

12x16" Canvas board painted with Acrylics and Acrylics Inks.

These canvas boards fit beautifully into frames. I particularly recommend ones with a mount for ease of fitting but with some frames it's possible to take the glass out and pop it directly into a frame so there's no glass glare. Both options are good, all depends on your preference really. 💓🙂

🙂I'm still here!👋 I've been a little quiet over the Summer and it's taken a few days to get back into my groove but I'm happy to say I'll have a commission to share with you towards the end of this Month and also I've been preparing for this lovely event in Leek!
I've got a couple of ideas for paintings in the pipeline so I'm hoping to bring two unfinished pieces with me to paint live at the event. 🖼️🖌️🎨
I'm also thinking about how I can revisit some of my old (very old!) ceramics ideas to bring to life again onto canvas but that might take a bit longer for me to figure out/ play and experiment!
