Since May, my best friend and I have been meeting up every Thursday. Sometimes we go do something fun like paint pottery, go for a trail walk, get a fun dinner. This week we just stayed in! Highly recommend setting up a standing date with your friends or loved one to fill your cup! It gives me something to look forward to every week outside of all my responsibilities and commitments!

5 silly weekly goals I’ve set to keep seasonal sadness at bay as the days get shorter
1. Wear something fun (even if I’m not leaving the house!) this one is self explanatory- you look good you feel good. I’m so bad about staying in my pajamas so I’m going to work really hard on this one!
2. Try a new fun recipe. Fun fact: I hate following instructions in the kitchen but I followed + made the most delish Thai recipe. I’ll be chasing that feeling weekly now.
3. Junk journaling is so therapeutic and so fun!!! You throw all the aesthetics out the window and just use stickers, and JUNK from your recipe. I LOVE IT
4. Do something creative! For me, this means work on something with my hands. Paint pottery (or paper), make a hydrangea wreath, sew a fall banner, etc. it’s so good for my brain to just turn off while I craft.
5. Last but not least, paint my nails! I don’t get my nails done but I doooo love having pretty colors! I’ll be trying to keep my home manis scheduled and done!
